At For The Art Of It, we’re big believers that creativity should feel fun—not intimidating. Our relaxed, beginner-friendly creative workshops across Wollongong and the Illawarra are all about switching off, trying something new and enjoying the satisfaction of making something with your own hands. No artistic experience required.
Choose from colourful projects including pet bowl painting, vases, planter pots and seasonal creations. We provide all the materials, plenty of inspiration and friendly guidance, while giving you the freedom to make your piece completely your own.
Join one of our public workshops, come along on your own or with friends, or gather your favourite people for a private creative workshop. Think birthdays, hens celebrations, baby showers, team events or simply a great excuse to catch up.
No pressure. No perfection. Just a few fun hours—and something you’ll genuinely want to take home.
hi! I’m Sarah
I’m Sarah—the founder of For The Art Of It, chief workshop planner and Peppa’s full-time assistant.
I’ve always loved creating experiences that give people a reason to come together, have fun and try something different. For The Art Of It combines that with my love of getting creative: relaxed, welcoming workshops where you can enjoy the process and leave with something you’ll actually want to keep.
When I’m not dreaming up workshop ideas, you’ll usually find me walking by the ocean, drinking coffee, planning my next cheese board or insisting that leopard print absolutely counts as a neutral.
And then there’s Peppa—the real boss. She specialises in naps, snacks and appearing in far more For The Art Of It content than originally planned.
